Al Rajaa Organization launched a football education and training program at the Organization's "Al Rajaa Football Academy". The program was overseen by Colombian international coach Sergio Nova and conducts training at the Sheikh Jarrah stadiums for the promising category of 5/12 year old for males and females.
The launch of the programme was in line with the Organization's strategic plan to refine, promote, empower and continuously develop talent to acquire basic football skills, as well as improve psychological status and develop the abilities and skills of children and young people in the Jerusalem community.
Specialized staff oversees the training and player development processes. The training program includes regular practical and scientific courses conducted in stages according to a curriculum. The staff includes coach Hassan Bashir, Ahmed Abu Soye and Hussam Abu Ghanam, and participates in the training amid a high turnout of about 80 players from different age groups.

To promote and develop plans for sports activity at the Organization, the veteran coach and educator Aqil Al-Nashashibi was contracted to serve as a technical supervisor in football training at the academy of the Organization. The mission of the coach is to directly supervise the training, develop technical and sporting plans and formulate a curriculum for the Academy to ensure the development of the work and the handover of responsibility to supervise the coaches and sports program.
